CUPCAKES . . .

We recently hosted a wedding shower for two of our gay friends and wanted to have cupcakes and a cupcake tree . . . so off to the Bulk Barn in town where they carry all the Wilton cake decorating supplies we would need . . . we purchased a decorating tip, bag, cupcake liners, meringue powder (secret to making the icing stiff, and we all like a good stiffy LOL), and paste food colors . . . we made both chocolate and vanilla cupcakes from scratch . . . and then came the conumdrum of how to decorate them . . . well after experimenting with several designs we came up with the following . . . they were the hit of the shower and everyone is still talking about them . . . I took a couple into work and if I wanted to I would have had orders galore . . . no thanks not really wanting to go into the cupcake baking business . . . we called them the Mad Hatter Cupcakes . . . a bit "mad" but really, really good!
