Made in Canada . . .
This weeks choice is singer, Roch Voisine. Roch was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, but grew up in Saint Basile. His father was Réal Voisine, mayor of Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Quebec and his mother was a former English teacher, Zélande Robichaud. He is the oldest of three children. Roch aspired to be a professional hockey player until he was severely injured playing baseball in 1981. He attended the University of Ottawa graduating in 1985 with a degree in physical therapy. Roch Voisine is married with two sons. There were rumours going around when he was in university that he once dated a NHL Hockey player who played for the Quebec Nordiques. One can only hope.
